Project CREA

Project CREA, Creato's arts entrepreneurship and community-building mentorship program that supported Toronto-based Latine/x youth creatives in developing collaborative, healthy, and sustainable creative practices.

Over two cohorts, participants were mentored by established Latine/x artists and creative professionals—including Camila Salcedo, Laura Rojas, Fidel Peña, Luisa Mora, Sofi Gudiño, and Ale Macouzet—to develop and showcase a personal creative project at a Final Exhibition.

Funded through ArtReach Toronto’s Community Arts grant, Project CREA took place at Underscore Projects in 2021 and at the Creative Enterprise Hub (formerly Innovation Studio) at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2024.
